guards - jrue/book/curry
wings - bron/kd/edwards
bigs - ad/embiid/bam

that's the nine man rotation we should see in the final two games.

Please no! White has been the glue guy. You can't have a team of high ball usage scorers and expect things to gel. As great as this team has been, if you replace Curry with Josh Hart, they'd be even better.

People view Christian Laettner over Shaq on the Dream Team as a major WTF moment. But honestly, Rodman was the one snubbed. He would have gotten Team USA 20+ boards against Kenya, giving Jordan and Magic 20 more possessions. All while not needing the ball to play his game.

The only team that can beat USA is USA.

Is there a clear cut favourite in the women's category? US? Who's then the biggest challenger?

Yeah the US women have won like a million straight gold medals and look like they are heading to another one. Not much in the way of a real challenge. I think Belgium is pretty good but USA already beat them.

Women's quarters are Wednesday if anyone missed it.

Yes... Curry has been underwhelming. I thought his shooting would help the team keep the floor spread and allow other guys to work.

It seems like he is getting most of his minutes with Embiid? Is this true? If so, maybe this has something to do with it? In the NBA most of the guys pound the ball, but Lebron and Durant have shown they're willing to move it with Olympic team. I don't know what's up with Curry.

Last game, the women's team found their jump shot. If that continues, they're unstoppable.

Australia, Serbia, Belgium, and France kind of make up that second tier. Upsets happen in single elimination tournaments, but I suspect the silver and bronze to go to one of those four.

Short of an epic chokejob, Joker is going to be tired of losing to this team again and again. I expect a better fight from Serbia than last time because they have some pride but that's really about it.

Hey, I'm not an Embiid fan at all, but I'll be the first to say that I love it when he shuts me up!
I still think he's a clown that makes a fool of himself taunting the crowd, but it's more bearable if he puts up good numbers.

The way the United States has been playing, they are going to win the final and then be like "Ok, now that we got those practice rounds out of the way, I think we are ready for the actual tournament!" and then "The United States has been playing so well that it seems like they are going to win the final and then say, 'Ok, now that we got those practice rounds out of the way, I think we are ready for the actual tournament!' Then they will be shocked when they end up being awarded the Gold Medals.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

Uh, they've been cheering him some during the games more and more. His antics are actually winning them over.

Will we see some leftovers of the home-cooking the refs have served before?

All to appease the hometown fans of the matchup they wanna see no matter if the rest of the world likes it or not?

I'm tired of spanking Serbia.

My dream matchup is USA vs France and Embiid plays the best game and the crowd watches him receive his gold medal.

USA is just too good. Griner hasn't played particularly well, but all they have to do if games get close is throw out Griner and it's an automatic mismatch in the paint. Guard play has gotten better especially with outside shooting.

FIBA basketball is garbage

Talent matters less than size

Height matters more than talent

It glorifies physicality over actual basketball ability

After all, FIBA rules basically make Gobert (memed for his playoff issues) into Hakeem

I know Kerr said he won't start Durant, but I think he should feature a starting lineup with the best bball Olympian going forward.

Curry
Edwards
White
KD
Embiid
