Gonna skip the first two games for sure. This is a good test for the new-look Hawks. Bogdanovic needs to be playing though. They need his offense.

They had a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter vs a healthy Suns team in the season opener but imploded at the end with consecutive turn overs. Eventually losing by 3 in overtime.

They beat a healthy Nuggets team yesterday on the road. They went like 4-1 or 5-1 in pre season, which displayed their smothering defense.

They added some athletic pieces who are long and defensive minded like Jones Jr , Dunn, KPJ , Kai Jones and Nic Batum.

Regardless of all the hate for James Harden , he now has the green light to be the floor general. 24 pts and 16 assists yesterday is not bad for a washed up star who just 4-5 years ago recorded insane season averages.

With this said , I’ll take the win today on the road in a back 2 back vs Warriors.

Cavs currently 1st in the East via point differential. They blew out and the Wizards last night while the Celtics had to put the Pistons away late. Lakers only 3-0 team in the West going into today.

Philadelphia actually looks good without George and Embiid.

The Sixers still look impressive without their two best guys. However, Yabusele looks like trash after his Olympics stint.
