Wonder what Houston will do with Sengun this game. Houston got absolutely torched the other night when he was on the court and Spurs had a lot of trouble when they benched him and ran their offense through Jalen Green.

On another note - why tf are we playing Houston 3 times in the first 2 weeks of the season?? Madness

Arena schedules may get cramped with other stuff and the schedule needs to work out

We're running out of undefeated teams (four left) and this is only day 7.

Must watches:
- Can Milwaukee bounce back against the rolling C's? How long is Middleton out? The march to the play-in rolls on.
- Cleveland's first game against someone with a pulse and on the road in New York. Good litmus test for both teams.
- Denver with their first must win game of the season against the Raptors. Will Westbrook continue to be a net negative? Schadenfreude says yes.
- Rockets vs. Spurs. Round 2. Back-to-back for some strange reason. Pelicans in Portland made sense because of travel. This one does not. This is year 3 for Jabari Smith Jr. He has one good game and two stinkers. He needs to get more consistent, but Udoka may have an issue (good problem) of too many mouths to feed. Backup PG still seems to be influx for the Rockets.
- Lakers vs. Suns. Round 2. JJ's first road coaching experience. Let's see if this Hachimura is the real deal. For the Suns, more Ryan Dunn and Oso Ighodaro please.
- Must win game for the Kings. Blazers have the kind of frontcourt that can really give them matchup problems like the Pelicans a year ago (lots of long, rangy defenders). Kings are arguably the smallest team in the league. Alex Len is their biggest guy, but he's big for nothing. DeAaron Fox is playing for a supermax, but I haven't been impressed with him to start the season. Sabonis has been awesome. Scoot and Simons need to get loose in this one.

"Schadenfreude says yes" That killed me.

There are also only 4 teams without a win [including Denver!]. Whatever happens this season, the early few games have shown some parity is alive and well and no one is safe from a loss [until the b2bs start kicking in].

I'm definitely excited for Cavs/ Knicks. I think this is a sneaky game of the night here... + the Rox/Spurs. The matchups for post play will be great. Mobley/Allen v Towns and Wemby/Sengun game 2 which was a thriller last time around.
Cheers

I hope RJ and IQ return today and drop the Nuggets to 0-3. That would cause some real PANAC!

Ugh, so many good games but only so many hours :noway:

Celtics/Milwaukee is a must watch but how do I betray my spunky new Raptors!!!

I see everyone is super excited for DET vs MIA

Other than that I'll be watching Spurs Rockets again, that was a fun game last week. Maybe I'll check in on LA before bed.

So the Grizz just converted Jay Huff to a standard four year deal from a two-way and now have a complete 15 man roster. They get a legitimate backup center for the minimum. If only Denver could have had such a player. Oh, wait, they did but the dumb arse coach wouldn't play him. C'est la vie.

Should be a fun test tonight! Hopefully Deuce is good to go, even if Hart has to miss this one.

Brunson: So what are you paid to do?
Hart: Run around like an idiot during the game and f*** s*** up!

Coach wouldn't play him and the GM let him walk for nothing so he could replace him with PJ Hall. Both of them failed utterly. He was a restricted free agent and Booth could've matched the two-way he initially signed.

GM also let Collin Gillespie walk for nothing when the Nugs only have four playable NBA guards on the roster. Also was a restricted free agent.

Nugs could very easily have Trey Alexander, Collin Gillespie, and Jay Huff as their two-ways instead of Alexander, Hall, and Spencer Jones.

So Paolo and Suggs are the Magic's two most important players right?

Suggs in: Haliburton looks like garbage

Suggs’ defense is still under appreciated by the comments made in his contract thread. Then you throw in his shooting and it’s ridiculous to think that he is a replacement level player.
