I know it’s less than 10 games, and the Hornets haven’t been winning…but the individual play of Melo has to be worth discussing. Dude is playing at a very elite level. Arguably top 10 at the moment. What is his ceiling?

We low-key got something cooking with Melo/Miller. Just got to get Mark healthy and playing so they have a legit center to catch lobs and play defense.

Melo might mess around and lead the league in scoring. He's been on another level with his scoring this year. He makes it look so easy.

He always does this then gets hurt.

He's playing like a superstar. Nobody saw it coming because he's been injured almost the full season in the past 2 seasons. Even fans in Charlotte feel so traumatized by his missed time that his play currently doesn't register. Feels too good to be true and something we're not accustomed to seeing everyday, not because he wasn't good whenever he played but because most games he wasn't even playing.

Yeah he makes the game look incredibly easy…in like a nonchalant way…it’s crazy

I've watched more than a few games this season where he looks off, but then minutes later you look up and he's got 21 points in the 3rd quarter, then finishes with 30+.

Just watching him in preseason it was like, "Damn, I forgot how good this guy is". It's shocking when you see him play after a long layoff.

He’s looked great this weekend. I would be surprised if they don’t sneak their way into the playoffs.

Well I would take 15/6 over 29/6 with some wins any day unless your building up his trade value to move & build around Miller.

He is definitely not the problem. Hornets don't have enough players right now

I would really love to see Hornets 8 vs. Celtics 1.

I think even though it's a sweep or at best a gentleman's sweep (1 win) the series would be a fun first round match-up to watch.

I sense LaMelo wants to show Tatum he can match him carrying his team like a superstar. I don't think LaMelo is satisfied just being a common star. And he also wants to win which is something even fans in Charlotte don't feel secure about.

He loves the game, jokes and smiles all the time, but don't let it fool you. He's analyzing every defender out there and obsessing over how to best pick apart each individual along with the entire team defense.

LaMelo makes everyone around him better. Hornets worst 2 seasons happened when he wasn't on the court.

This year, outside the Celtics (who SLAUGHTERED your Knicks), Hornets are .500 without a starting center. This is Brandon Miller's second game.

Only productive on one side of the court. Being great at half the game doesn’t make you at too 10 player.
