Will 76ers go on a winning streak after I post this? We will see, risky thread on me, we will see if it pays off...

Philadelphia — The Sixers need to start moving up the standings ASAP, but they’re just 4-17 against the 17 teams that are currently over .500 and 14 of their next 15 games are against that group. That includes big tests against Thunder, Knicks, Pacers and Bucks this week.

76ers are currently 11th in the East, 15-23, 3L streak, and they still have 4 back to backs left in January. Will they be toast?

Despite their poor record, they have no urgency, just to look at their lineup last night!

Crazy the load management they have despite their poor record...Need to win several games or they are toast....First round exit is their best case scenario

Yeah, they should pack it in and buyout Oubre & Yabusele for our bench :D

The Nets are going to finish with a better record than the Sixers and the Nets aren't even trying to win

The Sixers will forever be processing...

I mean it's harder to not make the play in than it is to make the play in in the NBA. They'll be fine.

I don't think they'll be "a toast." More likely, they'll be a piece of French pastry...that's been left on the counter overlong...until the cream inside has gone rancid...and even the flies turn their collective noses at it.

I could be wrong, though.

I am not convinced the Sixers really care where they finish in the standings as long as they make the playin. Not that I expect them to have some sort of deep run or be healthy in the playoffs.

The bolded part is nonsense though.

Playoff P turned into Play-in P and now turning into Process P

The correct idiom is "could be toast." "Could be a toast" sounds kind of cutesy and definitely incorrect.

They signed Paul George with cap space. They can at least unload him at the deadline and bring back a few picks they wouldn't have had otherwise

If they don't make any trades it's certainly possible - the Sixers are going as hard as they can every game, they're just not good.

No kidding. No chance a PG trade brings back picks unless they are also bringing back even "worse" money than PG contract.

You can't win anything with Bumbiid at the helm and to make matters worse they brought in Pandemic P.

I think Paul’s new nickname should be Pedestrian P.

They let Embiid play in the Olympics instead of rehabbing and resting his body.... and then they signed a guy who's been injured like at least 25% of his career.
