Oh hey good pals! Today we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by watching basketball games

- Kyrie vs Lamelo as Mavs visit Hornets in an early game on NBATV
- Ant vs Ja as Grizz host Wolves on TNT
- 2022 Finals rematch as Celtics visit Warriors on TNT
- #2 in West Rockets host Pistons with both teams 7-3 in last 10
- #3 in East Knicks host #7 Hawks - Brunson vs Trae
- #1 in East Cavs host Suns

I remember MLK day being the other big NBA day outside of Christmas. Where are the big time matchups? Why is Atlanta not on national TV to honor Dr. King?

Because the league would rather honor and highlight where he was killed for some reason.

I guess no one cares about where he lived, preached, and largely made his name.

It's 5am for me atm, why Is the Mavs game starting so early? Don't normally start this early.

Yes, Dr. King's greatness is 100% elevated by where he did his work and it's ridiculous to think otherwise. The Deep South was a disgusting place

American holday (Martin Luther King Day), so this Monday, the NBA always does a bunch of daytime games on this last day of the 3-day weekend.

Cody Martin
Moussa Diabate

Only one player can dribble and only one player can shoot other than LaMelo. RealGM should really look at the context before blindly criticizing LaMelo

We desperately need a top 2 pick Flagg or Harper.

I don't think people realize just how bad our roster is outside of our core 4. These dudes would be end of the bench guys on other teams smh
