2025 NBA All Star Starters Announced

Lamelo Ball had a huge lead in fan voting but Brunson sneaks in and gets that spot instead based on player and media vote. Everything else was as expected based on the fan voting returns. Though I wanted to see Wemby in there, personally.

Lebum and Durant getting in over Wemby is a disgrace..

Why? They're the two biggest names in basketball along with Steph, of course they'll be starters.

This is an all-star game, not the all-nba awards, it's a popularity contest, and every year people are "outraged" that the most popular players get in :lol:

Hopefully there’s still room for Cade Cunningham because I know that Ball, Young, Haliburton, Lillard, Herro, and Garland are locks.

There will be 15 starters though in the new format, so 5 other guys will get to start too. I'm surprised Wemby wasn't voted in but those 2 just have so many established fans/name recognition.

NBA has done a terrible job of marketing Spurs and Wemby. They should be getting more national tv coverage, more nba tv games, more Christmas day games, more heb commercials. Stop promoting old wheelchair Curry/KD/Bron and focus on the young guys.
