The brother with 35 assists also had 15 rebounds so he had a triple double without scoring.

Per Eric Sondheimer of the Los Angeles Times, the score was 79-0 at halftime and Nicholas was pulled from the game late in the third quarter.

Mesrobian head coach Mike Gabriel told Sondheimer that Nick scored 102 points in just 22 minutes of game time.

How can you be brothers, but your game is so different. One scores over 100 points, other guy has zero point tripple double with 35 adsists? Seeing the final scoring, they pribably just were on this stat padding mission against kid plumbers, probably rock papar scissored who will be the scorer.

Given that the one bro shot 60 times in 22 minutes, I wonder how many shots the rest of his team got to take? (His teammates seem to have combined for just 17 total points in the game.) While still impressive, it sounds like the two brothers went out there intentionally to play for the record while their teammates had to just kind of stand around and watch.

For a second I thought Tony Brothers whistled 15 technical fouls in one game. Fair to say I was disappointed to find out that was not the case.

10+ rebs, 10+ assists… what’s the third 10+ to get the tripple-double?

Isn’t this a double-double without points?

It's in the picture. Kid had 13 steals.

Sounds impressive, but both schools are tiny prep schools. these type of schools are barely able to field sports teams. Watching the highlights, Waverly had the worst high school level players I’ve ever seen. These guys play like clueless 5th graders, and didn’t play any defense whatsoever.

Is it really that impressive to run up the score against a team that doesn’t know to play? Just seems like gross stat padding and selfish ball to me. Move the ball, get your teammates involved.

Mesrobian is a popular Armenian HS (I think it's private).

The school they did it against is 0-12, and has gotten beat big by Mesrobian twice on the year. They also lost 71-9 and 123-27 against two other sides.

In other words....trash

Still impressive feat imo

The other team was probably just happy to have a basketball team, aww,

They knew the team was super trash, so they likely already planned with everyone before to chase the records.
