But do they still have the money to pay for the team?

at this point Taylor is probably fine selling as the team doesn't seem close to winning as it did last season.

That was always Glen's idea to do it in payments.

Let the fire sale begin. They've made it clear they wish to slash payroll dramatically.

Please post anything to back that assertion up.

If anything it's the exact opposite. That seems to be what Lore claimed, but then as soon as he decided he wasn't selling, he made that abysmal KAT trade to save money.

The NBA should undo that horrible trade since he shouldn't have been the owner when he made it.

And undo the Luka trade while they're at it.

We'll see. I love KG but he is a petty man. KG was part of a rival potential ownership group that lost the big to Lore/Rodriguez and he was mad about it, so he might not engage with them either. Hopefully they can make the right overtures and get this done. It would be a big moment for T-Wolves fans.

I don’t think they will if they are contending

It will get retired and KG will have a role in the organization if he wants it.

Even if he were still mad about losing the bid, he would still do it out of spite.

Glen Taylor is KG's Drake.

To be honest, I don't think it'll matter. They might not have the money to keep the team afloat after the sale, so time will tell just how long this ownership team lasts and what the roster looks like in the immediate term after the sale closes.

Lore and Rodriguez are barely close to a net worth valuation of maybe $1B combined. They'd better have a LOT more people lined up in the group to make this happen.

And Glen didn't? He wanted to back out of the sale because of the 1 great season they were having.... Then traded away their best player to save money.

Wolves could've had Ant, KAT, and Walker Kessler along with an abundance of cap space to fill out the rest of the roster. Instead they threw it all away for Rudy Gobert.
