EDIT: Didn't see it was blood clots, just shoulder injury. Obviously he's not individually lucky for that and wish him well in recovery. Hopefully it's only a footnote in his story that has no lasting impact.

I believe it’s 10 years to the day Chris Bosh went out with blood clots. I hope Wemby recovers

Bad news. Blood clot ended Bosh's career. Getting a blood clot in your early 20's when you're in great shape is a scary sign.

Oh wow, that sounds serious. Any idea what the outlook is?

I'm sure I could do 20 min of research but to save time - what is the treatment for this? I mean to miss 2 months I assume there's a plan in place, is surgery expected? Is it career threatening?

If it gets cleared and he has no further issues without the need to take blood thinners, he should be ok. Those are big ifs though. This is medical, not injury.
