Pistons lead regular season series, 3-1. Knicks' lone win came way back at the start of the season (Nov 1) then Pistons took the next three.

Is there chance that Ivey will be back?

Pistons seem like they are going to be physical as hell. I hope the Knicks are ready for it. Cade also seems to give Brunson fits. I need to give this one a think. The Duren/Beef Stew/Paul Reed matchup versus KAT/Mitch/Precious will be fun though.

On paper, the Knicks should win.

But man, feels like the Pistons just want it more.

Playoff basketball is different though. We may see the Knicks up their game to a different level. Ultimately, I think talent wins out and the Knicks win…but wouldn’t be shocked at all if the Pistons take it.

Honestly kinda expecting Stewart to cost the Pistons with his antics. Never seen him put his team over his own emotional outbursts, and not sure I expect an even more intense environment to help with that.

Stewart puts the team over his emotional outbursts 97% of the time, but those moments don't go viral. But yes, he is prone to it and trying to get under his skin would likely be a good tactic for NY.

This is going to be a very interesting series. Let’s see if the Pistons role players continue to step up.

Having your playoff debut at MSG is massive but I don’t think Cade will be phased.

Will we see the KAT-Robinson lineup? You need Mitch for this matchup. Detroit is a physical, defensively-minded team.

its going to be spicy and i wouldnt be surprised if we lost to the pistons

This series is going to be a mess, which means it'll be one of the better first round match-ups. Stewart is going to fight everybody. Neither team is all that good, but the margins are small. Cade and Brunson will go toe to toe, Thibs and JBB will go toe to toe in all their flaws. Yeah, I can see this going 7. Whoever wins, is setting themselves up to get belt to ass by the Celtics.

Cade is the best player on the court but this is his first playoff series so I expect at least one off game, probably early.

Should be a scrappy competitive series

Yeah, it's not like they didn't score more points than the Knicks in 3 out of 4 meetings this season...

Detroit Pistons surface level takes 101: Blame everything on Stew, because he's SO violent. YUP he'll DEFINITELY be the ENTIRE reason we lose this series.
