Honestly, I probably was going to watch it on local broadcast anyway since Brian Sieman is a top notch commentator while the national guys tend to suck, esp SVG.

Doesn't surprise me. OKC is going to be making several deep playoff runs the next few years so the NBA is doing their job to promote them on the national stage as much as possible. It's stupid in the short term but the right move for the future.

Cool story for Harden. It’s a 1% chance thing with OKC next round even if they win BUT… if Harden/Kawhi brought a ring to the Clippers it would be up there with the 2011 Mavs Dirk ring and 2016 Cavs ring.

As long as Clippers play their game and 3-4 players score their averages - Clippers should win this one.

Would be great for Norman Powell and Brogdan have a scoring outburst.

Fun fact: tonight's game, in addition to being the first playoff game ever played at Intuit Dome, will also be the first Clippers' home playoff game NOT played in a building shared with the Lakers since Game 3 of their 1997 first round series vs the Jazz, at the old Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena. That was a 36-win, #8 seed Clippers team featuring Loy Vaught, Malik Sealy, and Rodney Rogers, going up against the #1 seed 64-win Jazz. They lost the game and were eliminated(this is back when the first round was best-of-five).

The biggest irony is the claimed Kawhi and Harden stoppers were AG and Braun and both have been decimated like BBQ chicken. A lot can change the next few games but it still made me chuckle.
