End of an Era. Inside the NBA. Last NBA game on TNT when eastern conference finals ends

Post#1 » by lonniefire » Thu May 22, 2025 3:48 am

Sad to see an end of an era. I’m going to miss Inside the NBA. A little emotional about it but I’m aight. NBC, ESPN or Amazon prime will never have the pregame or post game coverage or be as entertaining as TNT Inside the NBA. Will be a sad day for all NBA fans being that it will be the last time we see Chuck and the crew do an NBA game.

Their in-game analysis is awful. Ex-player personalities are so overrated. Ernie was the one bright spot in that crew, and even that wore off over time.

Adding Shaq to the show pretty much killed the dynamic, even if there are funny moments from time to time.

Yeah, they're clueless, but the banter is cute.

Chuck doesn’t even know NAW or OGs names. People act like these retired players know anything when most of us on here watch more basketball than them

Let's hope they go out like CBS and NBC did.

Love Ernie. Think he started early 90's.

Liked Barkley.

Like Shaq but he wasn't always good on the show.

Can't wait for Kenny to be gone.

ESPN is the worst NBA product in the 45+ years I've been watching the league, but unfortunately ITNBA has gone down the tubes IMO.

Just hoping NBC and Amazon can refresh the coverage. Seems like things can't get much worse.

I stopped watching after last season. Everything just felt old and played out.

NBA on NBC did it exquisitely with a lot of class paying homage to the past, present and future. Just fantastic.

It's a shame ESPN got the rights to the halftime/postgame show and not Amazon or someone else. Disney are terrible and I feel they'll ruin it.

That’s very sad to me all of a sudden. Legit emotional.

Games I’ll never forget are almost all NBA on TNT games.

Ernie and Chuck are the only good things about the NBA on TNT. The rest of them suck. Good riddance

Disappointed it’s still going to survive on espn. Was hoping it finally went away and we got closer to moving beyond the Barkley/Stephen A era of just being obnoxious to get attention.
