Really? Malone was the coach when the Nuggets stormed back from a 3-1 deficit to upset the Clippers a few years ago.

On top of that, the OKC series should have ended in 6 games max, if it wasn't from some coaching blunders by OKC

Meh, i soured on him after blowing that game 7 lead by resting both Jokic and Murray at the same time and then not benching WB and Strawther after they began to throw the game by committing turnover after turnover.
Not much has been changed how the team plays once he started coaching since he didnt have the time to leave a big mark. But the offense was still stagnant without Jokic creating something out of nothing. Should we blame it on the coach or on Murrays, WBs, MPJs inability to create and the lack of spacing is yet to be determined.
Defensively he had solid adjustments, continuing Malones ability to squeeze solid defense out of a mediocre defensive squad.
At least he showed that he has better time out management that Malone who would routinely let the other team get a big lead or let his own team lose a big lead before making adjustments.

Just reminded me that the Nuggets fired their Head Coach before the Playoffs. I think that is what helped doom the Nuggets. Adelman is just an opportunist.

Malone had lost the locker room. I doubt he would have made it out of the first round. I think the other thing that you are severely unlooking is the zone schemes that the Nuggets played against the Thunder. The Nuggets defense was drastically better by throwing in zones that the NBA doesn't see often and that should be credited to Adelman.

Josh Kroenke appears to have made the decision, and according to him, the GM job is still open. They are exploring all of their options there.

If we're being honest, he's probably about as good as Malone, albeit less experienced. Their problems are roster-based, but maybe he can squeeze more out of the young guys next season.

Congrats to MadTV man. He is as deserving as anyone on the market and I imagine has good relationships with his players.

Tenzer's going to get the job. Nuggets always promote from within (under the Kroenke's). Until they do otherwise, I won't believe they're going to bring in someone from outside the organization.

He seems smarter and more emotionally stable then Malone. And he doesn't "love the sound of his own voice" like Malone does, and those people tend to have a shorter shelf life with a team.

Malone wouldn't have sit both Jokic and Murray at the same time during a game 7.

Malone is a good coach IMO. His issues seemed to be:

Clashing with the GM
His style apparently wearing on players

or it could have been nuggets in 5 if they had one more rotation player ? could have should have...
Adelman did a great job and he deserved the spot. It also adds to continuity of this team since Adelman is in Denver since 2017.
