Best dunker in the game today?

Post#1 » by UglyBugBall » Sun Jun 8, 2025 12:40 pm

Who you got? I might be missing some names but these are the guys I've actually seen that seem like they should be in the conversation. I think I'm going with Ja because of the combo of speed, finesse and power at his size.

But honestly this crop feels weaker than many in the past to me?

My bad, he got one (1) dunk last year:

But if that one was a Mac McClung level dunk, would it instantly qualify him?

Sure, but I'd want video proof...and as Luka is fat, that would mean using a very wide-angle lens. Maybe NASA can help?

He dunked so hard the satellites lost signal, we’ve only got footage of him taking off.

I think Ant’s are still the best because of the vertical + power. He dunks a lot like Russ used to like he’s trying to tear the rim off but even more athletic.

I don’t know about him being on Russ level. Russ was my favorite dunker for a long time, I found him way more exciting than Ant. I think it was the mix of speed, being smaller, and not quite jumping fully above the rim that made his dunks look so violent. It was like he spiked the ball against the top of the rim and it just snapped down in self defense.

Plus the post dunk flex and scowl really sold it. He dunked with the kind of rage you’d expect from a guy storming the beaches of Normandy. Ant’s dunks are cleaner and weirdly more respectful if that's a thing.

As least spell Shaedon Sharpes name right, this is a dumb poll. As long as he’s in the league everyone else can pack that **** up. Go watch the reel. It’s undisputed

From your list it's "sheldon", or Ant.

In game, definitely Ant and Ja. Sharpe is a good choice also. Feels like Malik Monk should at least be in this discussion

Bruh this is a 2/10 dunk from Shaedon sharpe gtfoh. Y’all trippin hard or clearly missed some blazer highlights. Shaedon would have added nearly a foot to that vert with half the ease

Not many have a better resume than Obi Toppin.
