And people wonder why the NBA media is so toxic. Maybe stop handing out millions to grifters who don't like basketball

Do you watch every single second of every game?

This is a ridiculous criticism.

No.

But I don’t get paid millions to analyse games and we’re talking about the biggest games on the calendar.

What is worse is the person who paid however much money to be at the NBA Finals and instead of watching the game, they're watching SAS play on his phone lol

Pay me 100 million like SAS and I would. Because there are plenty of fans out there doing it for free

Maybe they took their phone out for a second to take a photo of how ridiculous it is from SAS.

Would have taken them 5 seconds.

Do you also concentrate on work every single second that you're at work?

Sorry but no one watches every single second of every game.

It’s Steven A Smith. It is a circus act whether he actually watches or not. That being said I am pretty sure that is photoshopped.

His job is to analyse NBA games. He’s on the **** halftime show ffs.

It’s not like he’s zoned out for a second.

He’s engrossed in a game on his phone.

It’s been apparent for years SAS is a clueless idiot who doesn’t actually watch games closely. This just proves it.

Sums up how **** ESPN has become

Plenty of NBA analysts take notes the entire game so you’re wrong.

There are lots of breaks during the game. Who cares.

Well, considering his analysis is a superstar needs to play like a superstar and nothing else, I'm not sure what you expect. That's literally the crux of anything he says.

It's bad optics but a lot of people are in a constant state of having stuff going on their phone. I'm sure every other person on the panel was reloading their Twitter over and over.

I could be wrong, but perhaps the OP isn't being paid $12M/year.

They got rid of talent so that they could pay Stephen A. Which makes this all the more embarrassing.

It's Solitaire. Obviously this is more than "1 second" if someone had the time to pull out their phone and take a picture. And also he is a professional. Do you see anyone on the NBA bench playing on their phone? No and most of them are getting paid less than SAS.
