There are a lot of rumors about the Wolves trading for KD.

It feels like an odd coupling if you ask me. Idk what to think about it.

Yes, can see Durant playing with anyone.

He is basically the perfect player archetype and fits with every system/player imaginable.

They played together and won gold last summer. They talk glowingly about each other. I don't know if my picturing it matters, but the front office will decide the picture.

yep frontcourt of Reid and KD is not going to work defensively. Hou or SA make way more sense than Minny

It will just marginalize Jaden McDaniels. I kind of want to see what happens if they did trade Gobert. He wouldn't be their scapegoat whenever they get beat anymore.

Plug & play, right? You have two guys who'd both rather pretend the game is 1-on-1 with 8 other guys on the floor, so I'm sure they'd still do their thing if the other guy was one of the 8.

Wolves should keep Gobert/Mcdaniels and of course Antman, Suns have said in past they want young player + pics, so let's see how it goes.

Besides Gobert is getting old and his defense is declining. KD is an all time great coming off a great year.

Where does Randle fit into that?

I think Ant, KD and Gobert make sense on paper. Wolves also need a change of pace C off the bench like a Hartenstein for when they have a bad matchup for Gobert.

I cant imagine any KD to Wolves trade that doesn't involve Randle going to the Suns.

Naz needs to go then, seems like he's just a poor mans Durant.

I dunno, seems to me like Minny needs to take a step back for a year or so and try to build a better long term roster around Ant not throw hail marys like Cleveland during LeBrons first run.

Naz and Randle… alllmmmmoooosssttt matches KD salary, it’s off by like 1.5 mil from working, too much money coming to Phoenix. Since Suns are over second apron, they can’t add in a low level salary player to match, they can’t combine players in trades.

TL:dr; wasn’t a deal I could make work.

Cap aside if i was minny I'd take a swing. Randle just doesn't seem like he can get them over the hump and Naz is like a league average guy. At least old KD gives you a puncher's chance at a title run. Maybe if you can play him low RS mins. Also cop opens up quickly when he retires in a bit.
