. Didn't see this coming. With a $10 BILLION valuation… Largest sale of a pro sports franchise in history. Insane.

Mark Walter, who also owns the Dodgers, is a very competent and aggressive owner with deep pockets. Despite the NBA having a Salary Cap, this is still great news if you're a Lakers fan tbh.

I honestly have no idea why they'd ever sell. Did the brothers force the sale? Maybe they wanted to liquidate.

Jeanie does have a title as the owner though. So I wouldn't say she hasn't been competent. Always a chance the next owner screws it up. But the Lakers are much harder to screw up since the NBA cheats for them.
