Absolutely incredible block, but there was still ~2 mins left after that block. Tayshaun Prince blocked what was going to be a wide open layup for Reggie Miller with less than 20 seconds left.

73 win team up 3-1...no one has ever lived up to the hype like Lebron James.

Pinned against the backboard. Uncalled goal tending.
"Rule #11- Basket interference Section 1- A player shall not: e. Trap the ball against the face of the backboard after it has been released. (To be a trapped ball, three elements must exist simultaneously. The hand, the ball and the backboard must all occur at the same time. A batted ball against the backboard is not a trapped ball.)"

I don’t think you can compare the two, Prince was a block in game 2 of the conference finals where they won the series in 6 against a forgettable team.
the other was game 7, in the finals, to cap off a 3-1 comeback, against a defending champ who won the most games ever playing to be remembered as the greatest team ever.

Lol Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals vs. Game 7 of the NBA Finals, come on.

That was peak NBA basketball in terms of talent. Arguably the greatest dynasty vs a great team spearheaded by the GOAT. Lebron was basically 2 superstars in one during this era.

Nearly two minutes left to play. Most over hyped, overrated play in NBA history.
It gets hyped so heavily to hide the fact he was hiding on the corner when Kyrie hit the biggest shot in franchise history.

There was literally 50 seconds between both plays but you act like one was done with an eternity left and one was a buzzer beater
Both plays were amazing in their own right. Both teams struggled to score as it was 89-89 for almost 4 minutes, but yeah the fast break layup block to break that tie was overrated. Riiiiiiiight

Since a layup would have only given the Warriors a two point lead and Kyrie hit a three, LeBron's block became ultimately irrelevant. And again, LeBron was literally hiding in the corner on that shot.
Bron Stans are just desperate for an iconic Finals moment because he really doesn't have one.

Right because if the layup goes in, the entire rest of the game stays exactly the same. The thought process is profound. Big brain powers at work

Damn, has it been 9 years already? I was working at the time for an American company based out of Ohio, games were in the morning Australia time, most execs where expats from Ohio, they had life size cutouts of Lebron in the office... Nobody was working that day, the whole week basically. People were chugging beers in the office in the AM
Feels like yesterday

Just reporting the facts. Kyrie's three negated LeBron's block.
Another example of a lack of authenticity with LeBron; even his "iconic" moments are manufactured.
