Bron wouldn't have to worry about last second shots with Haliburton on the squad.. Kevin Durant would have a point guard with elite decision making and scoring in SGA. Which team would win in a 7 game series?

You know who he is.. it's Kevin Durant. He already guarded prime LeBron in 3 finals.

I think LeBron would dominate. Pacers got so much three point shooting it won't be fair with him and Hali finding open guys.

OKC is touted as one of the best defensive teams in quite some time and they guard the 3 point line as good as anyone. They can manage that quite easily. Who's stopping SGA from getting to the line?

I'm not sure if you been watching the finals but Pacers have been lighting them up from three. And Pascal has given SGA a lot of trouble when he has switched onto him. Pascal had a couple blocks on SGA when he tries playing one on one with him. Whos stopping LeBron from attacking the basket? He's gonna dunk all over Chet.

The entire system and team dynamic will more than likely change with the Pacers.. Kevin Durant only enhances the Thunder as he's just a plug and play offensive juggernaut. Pascal Siakam switched on an already exhausted SGA who had to carry his team to the finals offensively (scoring champion as a necessity). it's a different animal with KD as the first option and given the freedom and spacing that he's never had before. He'll Swiss cheese the Pacers and would probably average historic amount of freethrows with OKC living on the freethrow line and Bron's Pacers having to deal with a set defense every play down.
Patches Perry wrote:Durant fits anywhere, and would fit well as a 3/4 in OKC's lineups. Switchable, obviously can shoot, and solves an offensive problem for them. Just like GSW, Durant would take them from 68 wins to maybe the best team of all-time.
Pacers with LeBron would be awesome because prime LeBron is the best basketball player I've ever seen, but he changes the entire dynamic of their offense. With LeBron, they would play a completely different brand of basketball. Everything great about their team now would disappear and be reborn as something completely new and different. Would it be better? Almost certainly yes, but it's hard to say how much better, especially compared to the seamless fit of KD on OKC.

How is this a subtle shot at LeBron?

The part about LeBron not having to worry about last second shots because he would have Hali?
It was fairly obvious
