Skip Bayless: I think Haliburton was faking

As Haliburton lit it up from downtown, Bayless launched a ridiculous attack on X, claiming that the media were duped and that the Pacers had made up the injury story to relieve pressure on their star point guard.

Haliburton collapsed five minutes later, seemingly suffering a serious injury that would later be determined to be an Achilles tear, which would prevent him from playing for at least the entire upcoming season.

Most people would have apologized, deleted the tweet and just taken the L. Not Bayless; he took to X to state that Haliburton now appears "legitimately injured", according to his professional medical opinion.

I learned when I was 14 and he was on 1st and 10 with Woody Paige that Skip is a paid troll. Here's some advice to all, just dont pay attention

I'm thinking more than a few RealGM posters watched Skip on First Take or Undisputed, follow him on X(formerly Twitter), give him views on YouTube, etc.

I don't see the issue. He said something that turned out to be wrong so he followed up with a tweet that corrected it. Can we calm down? We don't need to have a meltdown just because he didn't do it exactly the way you'd have liked him to.
