Weird trade for Portland. Good trade for Boston. I can’t believe Portland trading for the older player who is more expensive long term contract had to add draft picks.

Portland’s GM is stupid. Simons is a guy they didn’t want to pay I get that but only Jrue Holiday? His contract will be negative in three years…

Legit totally confused by this. I know they’ve always loved Holiday as a player, I guess a mentor for Scoot in who they want him to become… but also just took on a **** of money. 2nd rounders are meaningless, so I could care less there.

He’s made some good deals, but then he’s made some trades like he’s just throwing a dart at a wall blindfolded. This would be one of those.

Didn't Portland trade for a younger Jrue Holiday in the Dame deal, then immediately trade him for Malcolm Brogdon? Now they give up a 26 year old fringe all-star talent for 35 year old Jrue? lol

Wow! I know a lot of Orlando fans wanted Simons. He’s going to be good on Boston. I am not sure why Portland traded for Jrue.
