What’s Portland doing?

Seems like a steal for Boston. Jrue is close to washed.

Weird trade for Portland. Good trade for Boston. I can’t believe Portland trading for the older player who is more expensive long term contract had to add draft picks.

Why did Portland do this?

Portland’s GM is stupid. Simons is a guy they didn’t want to pay I get that but only Jrue Holiday? His contract will be negative in three years…

He’s made some good deals, but then he’s made some trades like he’s just throwing a dart at a wall blindfolded. This would be one of those.

Portland is clearly under Boston’s spell. Rare to see a team trade with the same partner twice, involving the same player, and somehow win the trade both times.

When is the last time that happened?

Simon’s is an expiring and you send him out with picks… for Holiday who serves no purpose on that team.

Didn't Portland trade for a younger Jrue Holiday in the Dame deal, then immediately trade him for Malcolm Brogdon? Now they give up a 26 year old fringe all-star talent for 35 year old Jrue? lol

Wow! I know a lot of Orlando fans wanted Simons. He’s going to be good on Boston. I am not sure why Portland traded for Jrue.
