That’s not even starter money in this market. With growth for more development and the cap increasing this is a solid deal for a or a top pick.

24 mil per, good deal for both sides imo. I still think Jabari can do more than he's shown so far and has all star potential if given the opportunity.

Based off his production it's not great but I like it for Houston because I expect him to be worth $30 million + per year very quickly. $24 mill per for age 23 - 27 years is very unlikely to be a poor contract.

There's now room for the Rockets to retain Tari Eason without being a second apron team.

Easily worth it if he keeps developing. Hopefully Durant takes him under his wing and helps him grow his game a bit.

Looks like that's about what the Kings are going to have to pay to keep Keegan Murray as well.

So many guys from this draft class are going to be signing big extensions. Other than the obvious such as Banchero, Chet & Jalen Williams, you have Dyson Daniels, Keegan, Eason, Ivey, Braun, Kessler and Duren all likely getting $100M+. Then you have dudes like Shaedon Sharpe, Mathurin & Sochan on the bubble.

Wow, very team-friendly deal.

He’s still very young and improving; his skillset is ideal at the 4. I imagine he’ll have at least 1 All Star appearance by the time this contract is up.

I think he's definitely worth that money as a player.

But do I think hes worth that money on Houston being used strictly as a 3 and D PF? No

It he grows into his potential to become a solid starter, it's a fair contract, if he fails to grow as a player Houston is stuck with a very long bad contract. I don't understand these deals where teams take all the risk without a forseeable reward. Just not a fan of the premium charged for youth and potential.

Good deal for both side. With KD getting more attentions , game is going to be much easier for him. Also his 25 mil cap can be useful to trade up for someone like Giannis next trade deadline or next off-season. Win win situation for both side.

Very good deal as he'd easily get $30M plus on the open market.

$24M for your 4th best player on your team is about league average or under now days.

Meh, I'd sign up for that in a heartbeat if I was Houston. I think both sides are taking some risk with this deal. Getting him locked up in the 15% range for that long is good business. There is plenty of reward potential for Houston in this deal. If they want to get off that next offseason, it won't be a problem.

He should be hitting his prime as KD is retiring in a couple years and thats the sort of role he would be likely to take on in the future. Whereas Eason is better three point shooter and defender, while requiring less offensive usage

I thought he’d get more due to his play in the playoff. But if he’s happy with the deal I am happy for him.

I really like his potential as a switchable stretch 5.

Idk if he gets to play that on this team...

Happy to get another member of the young core locked up. Stone is having a good offseason.

Houston is set up great now. Hopefully KD takes under his max so they still have breathing room.
