Who would win in a best of 7 series? OKC gets home court due to having the better record.

Really hard, but I actually have the Celtics here, due to experience, a stronger 3-8 in my opinion (but it's really close), and the fact that the Celtics absolutely steamrolled the playoffs, whereas they needed 7 to beat the Denver Nikola Jokics and needed 7 to beat Indiana whose best player wasn't at 100% and didn't really have a secondary star.

One of those fun unknowables where everyone is probably going to be super reasonable.

I’ll take OKC with the best player and best 2nd player.

Boston has more experience, poise, and more reliable role players.

I'll take the 2024 Celtics with the experience edge but I expect the 2026 version of the Thunder to be better.

Why are people treating the 2024 Celtics like a super team? The 2025 Thunder definitely had to go through tougher competition.

Polls on this forum are just popularity contests. You have to look at the discussion to get any real honest comparison.

It would just come down to matchups. I'm not even sure '24 Boston beats '24 Thunder but '24 Thunder matched up terribly with the '24 Mavericks, who matched up terribly with '24 Celtics. The '25 Celtics were basically the same 60 win roster as the '24 Celtics and lost to the '25 Knicks in the 2nd round.

I'd put both at the same tier and its a coin flip 7 game series.
