This has been rumored for weeks. Pretty cheap deal.

Good deal for him. Good value, but I wouldn't pay a cent more.

Lakers fans seem to hate him, but at 6mill per season, it is not a big deal.

Lol, how the mighty have fallen. This dude used to get 30m a year in Wolves, and talk like he should be the Franchise player. And was very rude and disrespectful to Rudy as a teammate. Acting like FO would regret siding with Rudy ( aka the winning player).
He ditched by Wolves and now is on his 4th team since leaving and is on 6.5m a year contract.
Karma.

Most franchises seem to have made the realization that dudes like DLo make your franchise worse, somewhat surprised Dallas went this high.

It's Niko Harrison. He has no idea what he's doing.

He's usually ok that first season but for whatever reason starts to rub the lockerroom the wrong way after he's been there awhile. I wouldn't sign him for more than 2 years.

D-Lo as my eventual sixth man guard over washed Dinwiddie and Exum. Yes, this is a f'n upgrade. Now Brandon Williams can be the backup holding down the fort until Kyrie comes back.
A healthy Dallas team will be a problem. That Texas-OKC road trip is probably going to result in a lot of losses.

Seems like a Kyrie replacement for the year.
Russell is a bonehead, but his offensive talent is undeniable.

Kidd already said he's gonna try Flagg at PG at times too this season, like he did with Giannis in Milwaukee. So D'Lo probably has no pressure on him.

Let DLo lead the tank! Team isnt gonna win anything without Kyrie and they should just let AD load manage like crazy. Also give Cooper all the touches he can handle for his development. Better off tanking another year and lucking into another high pick, then go all out when Kyrie is back.

2 years, $13 million is less than 50% of the MLE, what exactly is high about this contract, that it is above the minimum? Lol

Yeah, basically. Did Dlo have another offer anywhere?

They kind of already have the same guy in Spencer Dinwiddie. But they were going to run Dinwiddie into the ground with their current guard rotation so I get it

I don't know what it is about D'Angelo Russell that continuously makes me think he's a very good player but I clearly have not learned my lesson because I think this could be the signing of the offseason.
