They freed up like $7M in that Poole/CJ swap. This signing and their picks will have them right at the tax. So on the surface, it seems like they took on the 2nd year of Poole in part to create the cap room to sign Looney to a 2 year deal instead of Olynyk. IMO, add that to the list of evidence that Dumars is awful.
