His performance in the playoffs for us definitely gave his value a spike upward.

How this dude keeps getting paid is amazing. Every team that's signed him absolutely hates him within weeks of him playing for them.

This is also the most Kings move ever.

Doesn’t sound like the Pistons wanted to attach any assets so they couldn’t agree to a S&T.

They're literally assembling the Avengers of NBA players people hate playing with.

45/3 seriously for DS?
Who were they competing against?
Wouldnt it be better to sign Gary Trent Jr? at 7.5/2 years?

What I haerd is Detroit was trying to find a 3rd team to take on Monk and maybe they couldn't find anyone.

Good for him but he is going to be upset again when he gets tossed around the league like hot potato.

That could be true also. But I don’t think Sac wanted to trade Monk for Schroder without something else coming back, so maybe Detroit or 3rd team (Miami?) wasn’t willing to give up an asset(s) for Monk that the Kings liked.

I guess still could be considering he signed a 3 year deal.

Current Kings' point guards: Devin Carter. Which other PG should they sign?

Honestly for him to get that type of contract after being traded like 5 times last season? Impressive, whoever his agent is now has been getting him solid deals since his lakers tenure.
