Whole Micic situation is pretty funny. He was one of the most talked about Euroleague FAs, he was so ready to go back to Europe, and then at the last second they pick his option just so they would be able to make a trade. I guess Micic could still be bought out, but why would they trade 2 seconds for a bought out guy?
I do believe Micic could be decent bench player in the NBA still.

He maybe has an agreement to bought out for cheap since he intends to sign in europe anyways. Maybe a way for the Bucks to clear salary and Micic to get a couple of millions of free cash

I see Pat makes 9.4 million, was it worth 2 second rounders to get rid of 9.4 Mil? I wonder what MIL is cooking, but they seem very desperate, I just do not like this team going all in, they are just not good enough.

They jumping through so many rings to just sign Turner. I personally just do not believe team is good enough, this is kinda a downside of having a generational player, everyone gets too attached to him. Ainge cashed on his championship vets in 10s and look what next generation Celtics have achieved. This is like gambling, when you start making moves based on atachements, is when you start losing.

I mean a weaker version of this Bucks team was on the verge of taking the fully healthy Pacers to game 6 in Milwaukee, they choked and played poor lineups. Since then the Pacers lost Hali and Turner

The biggest thing they need to do is replace Doc

They’ve rid themselves of the horrible Lopez minutes and now shed Pat C. Next up I hope they replace Prince

Vezenkov left on the table all his 6.6 mil for Toronto to return in Europe. Let’s see how much Micic wants to join him in Olympiakos.

Yeah, absolutely, think he could even be a solid starter. At least during his 1st stint in Charlotte he looked really good. Can also imagine that he just gets fed up with the way things go. In 2 seasons he went now from OKC to Charlotte to Phoenix to Milwaukee.

Pat is terrible now, makes a smidge under 10M so I wouldn’t call him cheap either

Either Giannis requested Micic or the Bucks want the capspace if he goes back to Europe. Can't think of any other reasons to make this deal for Milwuakee.

Solid deal for the Hornets to pick up a few extra picks for a guy they weren't planning to keep.

Its for sure a cost saving move. They probably already had a buyout for him in CHA, they shopped him saying 'this guy is willing to give up X million' and MIL took it.

It was a team option. So Micic gets free money he wasn't going to get anyways by them picking up the option and trading him

I think Giannis would actually really like playing with Micic, hope he stays in the nba

When Doc started playing those young players they competed well against the pacers with out dame now we get Turner instead of Lopez who we couldn’t play because he’s to old and slow. This team will be a lot better than you think now to rid of kuzma or bring him off the bench in limited minutes. I still see us making another move.

Suns picked his option to make Mark Williams trade, everyone totally expected him to become UFA, but now he stays, unless they buy him out.
