Maybe Mike can make that squad play cohesive offense, but honestly this is a downgrade. Brown is seen more as a floor raising coach, but hell who knows, maybe this is the stop that Mike proves he's more than that.

So they fire the coach that just provided them with their most successful season since 1999, to hire Mike Brown?? Dolan is the worst owner I've ever seen for a guy that isn't cheap

Why is it always these retreads?
Are there no young talented coaches in the college ranks?

Knicks back to LOLKnicks.
Fired Thibs for Brown? Firing Thibs was actually a good call, but only to turn around and hire Mr. Potato Head Mike Brown? You might as well have kept Thibs then.

This is a lateral move coaching quality wise in the best of circumstances.
The only positive here is that Mike will be better working with the players than Thibs ever was. Thibs is hard as hell on players and he’s not well liked my in large by them. So maybe that alone will be worth the change and they probably needed a more player-friendly coach than someone like Mike Malone who’s closer to Thibs.
Still think Jenkins would have been the best.

This is going to end bad. I’d be pissed if I was Brunson and KAT.

Does there exist any universe in which he's not fired within three seasons?

Didn't Brown want to play fast with Kings? While Knicks were the slowest team in the league with Thibs.

Whenever you try to hire every coach already employed and are denied, you gotta hire someone that just got fired.
LOL Knicks. Never change.

Eh, the Knicks have been projected as a #1-2 team in the East even without a coaching staff at all. He's not a fresh basketball mind or anything but you could also do worse. It's just not that inspiring.

These divas shouldn't care as long as they're winning. I can understand not wanting him anymore if your putting up with him while being a play-in team sure. But they've overachieved with him at the helm.
