Will he still have as much pull once LBJ retires? Will players still seek his services? Will he flop because he has to stand on his own per se?

I personally doubt LBJ is going anywhere, he and Klutch will still hold that power and cowork together, is the fact he is active player now that much of a difference?

I doubt LeBron is going “retire” as in walk away from basketball. Rich Paul has been pretty wildly successful on his own and is married to Adele, I don’t think his career and life will go away because LeBron is no longer playing

He'll continue doing what he does, he has the respect of more players than just Bron.

He’s doomed, because he only got his job due to connections, unlike all the other non-players in the nba /s

Yea the notion of him being dependent on LeBron is highly insulting. It's not even like LeBron was some childhood friend. He had to earn his trust as a nobody in the first place and then proceeded to do the same with numerous clients on his way to building an empire of his own. He's self made in every sense.

This topic is insulting, Rich has more than established himself and has one of the biggest client bases in sports. Ask yourself if he were not African American would you pose this question?

Isn't he a boyfriend of Adele?
Not saying this is a sign of being a great agent, but he's successful in life waaaaaay beyond being a LeBron's friend in this NBA/celebrities circle. It's not like you can create a behemoth in your field just based on connections with one player. Some people still believe that Rich is just a figurehead rather than a very successful person in his field.

Why did you feel the need to bring up race?

How is he suddenly going to lose those connections? Will he be imprisoned or something?

He still has other clients and is one of the most powerful agents in sports.

Because I felt it was necessary. The better question is why anyone would question whether most prolific and successful current agent would be questioned of maintaining his position after a client retires.

Who knows if the OP does but clearly he thinks Rich is a one trick pony to even ask such a question.

He's annoying to me, but guy's a great agent. He's going nowhere.

He's the only agency we all know and it's because he's connected to Lebron. So it's a valid question as most people know little to nothing else about him or any agent.

He’s like the Scott boras of nba agents. He dictates things not the other way around.
