Of course this is pure speculation and could be clickbait (the journalist states it's unlikely at the end) but it's quite rare to see the media covering a player that actually wants to leave LA and definitely interesting to see the tables turned for once.

I wonder what people think of this:

The Lakers have a problem

-They don't have many assets in terms of young players with potential or valuable first-round picks to improve the roster

-They got lucky with Ayton - he might have a solid season since he's playing for a new contract. But it could also go horribly wrong with him and JJ Redick

-LeBron is probably gone next summer, which opens up some cap space. But they'll still need to re-sign Austin Reaves before they can make major moves. Landing a high-caliber free agent while also adding solid role players will be tough

-The Lakers are in a similar spot to where the Mavs were when they kept struggling to get out of the first round. Nico Harrison managed to flip assets, turning KP into Kyrie, then adding Gafford and PJ Washington, drafting Lively, and building from there. But that takes time.

It will take the Lakers 2-3 years to build a team that is good enough to make the finals. If things spiral out of control, Luka might just say "f it" and ask out.

Valanciunas, Vucevic can hold the frontcourt for 3-4 seasons until Jokic gets bored and comes here.

I would like to know his opinion in regards to Gainnis.

I know several people that became more engaged with the game due to Giannis.

His brother Thanassis played for Panathinaikos for 2 seasons before he joined the Bucks.
His smaller brother Kostas played for Panathinaikos last season.

Giannis and his brother Thanassis will play again in Greece before the end of their career.
They'll purchase Filathlitikos(the team that developed them) and they'll try to get it on Greece's top division.
That's what Giannis has said at least.

Yahoo Sports is just paraphrasing a Bleacher Report story that speculates that Jokic might go to the Lakers, but also speculates about the possibility of Doncic going to Denver. It's mostly focused on what the Lakers could do, though, and it is all just speculation.

The Spurs and Nets are far more likely to bring Luka in since they actually would have cap space. The Nuggets do not have the cap space to bring in Luka Doncic by Free Agency,unless he's willing for some reason to take a vet min or at best a Mid Level exception deal.They also don't have the assets to trade for him, so the Nuggets being a Luka destination is extremely unlikely.

Actually it was Giannis who was a fan of Olympiacos as a kid(before even considering a basketball career)
