RealGM told me he should keep this to himself. What a diva. Such an attention you know what. Tim Duncan was the example. He has to make it all about himself. Gross.

As good a traditional PG as the game has ever seen.

I’d give him partial ownership to come home and mentor Fears and bully Zion.

Come to New York… the best chance he will have to win it all.

Not RealGM, just a bunch of grumpy fans.
Most of RealGM want one last season to enjoy watching all time greats mix it up with the new players.

Since when is NYC close to LA? That is about the worst possible location for his personal life.OrangeBlueSkies wrote:Come to New York… the best chance he will have to win it all.

Re: Chris Paul's final season
I'd bet heavily that CP3 ends up in LA but if he really wants to both start and maximize his chances of making the Finals, he should go to Milwaukee. The East field is wide open and he would be playing alongside the best player in the conference by a huge margin. Barring an injury to Giannis, they're virtually guaranteed to make the playoffs. Plus not only could he start in Milwaukee, he would also be in line for a larger role running the offense than with either the Clippers or Lakers.
Of course the trade off is three months of sub-freezing temps during daylight hours in one of the league's smallest markets which is why he's almost certainly not going to end up a Buck.

Re: Chris Paul's final season
Not sure if he really care all that much about winning a chaser ring. I mean, he most recently signed with the Spurs, which does not indicate he really cares about win-now situations.
I'd say LA like others think. It's more about being around his family at this point. He'd be around his friends too.

I never liked him. Usually rooted against him. Respect his game though.

A lot of people watching basketball today will never know how good CP3 really was. 07-08 CP3 was as good as any point guard ever not named Magic or Steph.

Steph is not a PG by any meaning of the word. He's usually the shortest guy on the court for his team, that's about it.MrBigShot wrote:A lot of people watching basketball today will never know how good CP3 really was. 07-08 CP3 was as good as any point guard ever not named Magic or Steph.
Draymond facilitates the offense and until last season, Klay defended the opposing teams PG/lead guard.

Personally I want him in Phoenix this year so I can be sure he isn't winning a ring.
Guy is a HoF point guard and a hell of a competitor, but I still don't like him

Re: Chris Paul's final season
I'd rather see him retire after a wonderful career.
His defensive weaknesses far outweigh any scoring or "leadership" value he may bring to a team.
It's comical to watch guys routinely break CP3s ankles and watch him fall on his big behind.
Time for him to hang it up, imo.
