Man these deals are getting crazy. But he’s a rare breed of player. Not many near 7 footers who can handle the ball and play both ways. I think he can be a Giannis type if he keeps improving.

Still best player from his draft in my mind so it is well deserved, hope he continues to play to it and doesn't get stagnate now that he's been paid

Now with the core locked up, we'll see how patient the Magic FO can be. Young players don't typically win championships. Even the young guys like SGA (7th year) & Tatum (7th year) took a while to reach that path.
The best way it to let these guys continue to grow over the next 2-3 seasons and figure it out themselves given you've made the long term commitment.

Paolo is one of the most overrated players in the league. He strangely has the reputation of an elite player like Giannis, but has the advanced stats of a Lamelo Ball.
Can't shoot, not an elite playmaker, not an efficient scorer, and not a good defender. Like what is he good at aside from aura farming?

I dont think Suggs is overpaid. He is the glue that holds the team together. If healthy, he is likely the 5th-best player from his draft class after Mobley, Cade, Franz, and Sengun, provided Barnes continues to decline.

That's a ton of money for Banchero.
He absolutely is not worth that at this time, so it's a big gamble. We'll see what he brings in 2026. Hope he's healthy and has at least the chance to show that he's worth this.

I'm interested to see what Paolo can do with a functional offense this season. I think he'll be in the top 10 in the MVP race, for sure.
