Sixers are cooked... Even if VJ is the real deal Embiid and George are going to waste the flexibility of his rookie deal... Plus that toxic culture is still going to be there.

Embiid should have been traded after his disappearing act against the Celtics two years ago and instead they extended him and gave another injury prone player a max contract.

Get another top 5 pick and their rebuilding might be complete within 2 years if Jared mccain is the real deal as well.

I think you're gonna see the team rebuilt around VJ here within the next 2 seasons.

It's a top 4 protected, they really need to tank so hard. Their main competent would be Utah. They can likely get a top 4 pick actually.

even top 4 means you only have a 50% chance at keeping it.

Worst FA signing ever?

The best thing for the 76ers and Clippers is to rebuild and get whatever they can for their top players because this hope for just one healthy run is fools gold and is never going to happen. I get 76ers ownership loves Embiid and Ballmer loves Kawhi but at what point is this not sustainable anymore?

I can’t imagine being fans of these teams and just hoping and crossing ur fingers every year for good health for your stars. I almost borderline feel the same about KD,AD, and Kyrie even though they’re slightly healthier.

The first clue was in 2019 when he averaged 17/8/3 on 37% shooting vs The Raptors
