How many rings would Luka need to become the face of LA sports (over Ohtani)?

Not talking all-time LA athletes (obviously Magic Johnson trumps the list there)...how many rings would Luka need to win to overtake Ohtani as the face of LA sports (current athletes only)?

Ohtani is better at his respective sport. Rings wouldn't matter.

That’s going to be tough. Ohtani is clearly the best baseball player in the world and is an international superstar from a well populated nation.
Also, believe it or not the Dodgers have been more popular in LA than the Lakers and I think that gap has increased even moreso in the last couple years with Ohtani and the aggressive Walter ownership.
I’d say Luka needs a back to back championship run as the best player in the world and Ohtani and the Dodgers have to get eliminated in the playoffs this season.

That's not clear
He's always had the potential to be the best, but injuries have meant he's only been the most productive player in 1 of the last 4 years, and the other 3 are the same guy. Seems tough not to give best player in the league title to the other guy until Ohtani puts an entire year together again
2025: Judge
2024: Judge
2023: Ohtani
2022: Judge

Lol
Ohtani is a better player than Judge. This isn't really up for discussion.

If you judge a player by a metric other than their full season production, yes

How about post season performances for starters and then we can go from there.

That's a weird metric to suggest considering Ohtani has never pitched in the postseason, and only has 1 postseason appearance as a batter, with only slightly above average hitting as a DH
Judge has about the same batting performance, but in more appearances, and he's fielded, and outplayed Ohtani in the World Series
But postseason isn't anything to write home about for either, so I guess we'll have to agree Freddie Freeman is the best player in baseball

I believe you mean a full a season on the mound, yes?
Because Ohtani is coming off an MVP historic year and that's just as a DH. A bit disingenuous to leave context out. No, he didn't pitch last year. That being said the moment he does step on mound, like he currently has, Judge has zero argument.
As for the OP question, one title. LA is a basketball city. Always has. Always will be.
