When he played 31 mins at age 21, he gave Orlando 16.3pts/5 rebs/5.7 assists per game. Not sure why he played less.
Now he is shooting better at age 24.

He got worse as the team improved. Can't just look at the age unfortunately. Orlando gave him every opportunity to be a consistent rotation piece. He failed.

With respect (and this isn't a criticism), but this is a perfect example of how the eye test must be paired with the numbers.

The ball can get stuck with Cole. And when he's not efficient, it bites you.

As Chuck alluded to above, he regressed in some respects. But it appears to be more mental than anything.

MIL has nothing to lose to see what they have with him.

Was hoping the "leg hunter" would go out west, so my team (Detroit) would only have to see this dumbass twice a year.

I think Cole and Gary can both have big years playing with Giannis. Cole has had a lot of very funny moments. His best friend on the team was Franz. Cole gave Franz the "OnlyFranz" name.

I expect Cole to beat out Kevin Porter for a starting spot.

Gary is a great defender. He finds a way through screens to stay in front of his man.

from google AI overview
The prefrontal cortex, responsible for complex cognitive functions like planning and decision-making, doesn't fully mature until around age 25 in both boys and girls. While the brain reaches its full size earlier, the prefrontal cortex undergoes significant development and refinement during adolescence and early adulthood.
Now I am aware a fair number of young guys mature at age 20, some just takes time to develop. It seemed to me that a good coach like Rick Pitino got really impatient with the 21 year old Chauncey Billups that he traded him after 51 games.

Inconsistency in his role.

Glad for him. I hope he breaks out in Milwaukee.

The battle between Cole and KPJ interest me. I look forward to seeing who wins and I want it to be KPJ.

Anthony is a stathound. He doesn't really understand basketball. He just mindlessly chases stats.

Harris can be useful if he has anything left in the tank. I don't know how that man ever averaged 17 ppg for a season. That's as anomalous to me as Corey Brewer scoring 51 points in a game.

I don’t expect Cole to beat out KPJ but he will be a good addition we will play a lot of 3 guard lines ups with Giannis and Turner. KPJ Trent will start AJG Rollins Cole Harris will all get playing time depending on matchups Rollins i like a lot he had a hurt shoulder last yr 6’10 wingspan youngest of the guards.

He is only 25. And has shown glimpses of being an efficient scorer. Don't mind this a cheap free hit singing for The Bucks. Honestly believe Doc can bring the best out of him

Cole ain't starting, lol.

Have you seen Milwaukee’s roster?

There’s absolutely a chance. While WAY more talented, you can’t rule out KPJ getting kicked off the team for random stupidity.

Ahhh yes Bucks. Great idea to retain Giannis.

Start the former lottery bound Orlando Magics backcourt. Yes, yes.

Fabulous.
