Was having a conversation about this at the gym. I said Trae Young my a solid margin. Jokic and Luka are really good too.

Lonzo Ball deserves a mention

Defenitely Trae Young. He is effortless at it.

Yeah id say Trae Young. Really wanted to see him end up next to wemby instead of Fox for that reason (and Wemby would free up Traes floater game a ton). Atlanta had a vision though, they're now pretty stacked.

Trae and Luka in a class of their own I think.

Lots of players can't throw a good lob pass. On the T-Wolves it's only Mike Conley, but he's too old to touch the paint often enough. Dillingham threw some crazy lobs in summer league so hopefully he can crack the rotation this year. Ant, DDV, and Randle are awful lob passers. Joe Ingles was good at them back in the day.

How many can do this though

If it's the ability to throw a lob from damn near anywhere on the court then it's Jokic. The guy throws full-court alley-oops.

If it's sheer volume then it's Trae or Luka.

Both are very impressive, but Luka's is harder to pull off IMO, live ball is harder than inbound.

You can watch basketball for another 30 years and you'll never see this play replicated. Elite passers, like Kidd, LBJ, Magic, Nash, all had teammates that could have pulled it off. Yet it was never even attempted.

That said, I've got Kidd as my overall best lob passer. No doubt CP3 made DJ a ton of money with those lobs too.

its def jokic from anywhere on the court and trae from pick and roll. then luka.
behind them and few yrs removed you have harden in his prime rockets days and cp3 as a clipper.
