Who you got as the most probable MVP this season?

Jokic is going to get his fourth MVP. I seriously think that the Nuggets can win 60 games this season

It's one of the top 4, I don't see anyone else having a case.
If Bucks finish top 3 in the east Giannis will have a very strong case.

It's Luka time, let's be honest.

There's no reason to pick anyone but SGA or Jokic. If the Thunder and Nuggets have a similar record then voters will lean towards Jokic, but if the Thunder have a crack at 70 (which I think they will) then I'd favour SGA to repeat.

This.

Really what the NBA needs to do with the west being such a grinder.

Unless a player has a statistical anomaly of a season that deserves MVP (and isn’t on best team in West).

SGA or Jokic have to be favorites vs. the entire rest of the field.

Since SGA won the last one, if both put up similar numbers and the Nuggets are within say 10 regular season wins of OKC, I’d guess Jokic.

(As previously noted, unless the Thunder win an obscene number of games, threatening 73)

I'm going with Luka. I think he'll be on a mission this season.

Jokic is the safer pick, though, he's always at an MVP level and the Nuggets have improved their roster.

The best player in the world with a improved roster should win, i.e. Jokic.

I'd go with Jokic. They've got significantly better depth than last year - which should lead to a clear uptick in wins (without the downside of adding a star to take attention/credit away from Jokic).

SGA's problem is that OKC will be hard-pressed to match a 68 win team with a record SRS and it's rare for a player to get an MVP when their team gets worse.

The Bucks PG/SG/SF rotation looks so bad that I can't see them getting the wins to get Giannis an MVP.

Even a 41yo fading LeBron will take some MVP attention away from Luka, especially as the Lakers are unlikely to end up with a gaudy win total.

Houston, Cleveland and NYK are the most likely other teams (along with OKC and Denver) to have very good records but all are too balanced to get an MVP award.

We're a better team than we were last season. Dame wasn't an impact guy anymore.

If the Bucks are healthy, the lack of star names in the younger support cast will give Giannis a great narrative for MVP.

Giannis without Lillard?
Career numbers incoming.
A top3 seed in a weaker conference seems possible.
I'll bet on that.

I'd love to see the Cade scenario, but we're a few years out still if we're blessed with that outcome.

Jokic. Until we see regression or something else happens, he is the best player in the world.

I doubt that the NBA will give another one to a grifter on a stacked team so SGA is out. Jokic will look to distribute and pace himself this time so i doubt he puts up numbers as great as he did the past few seasons.

Its between Lula and Giannis this time. The Lakers havent really built upon Lukas strengths and there is also LBJ to share the ball with. So since the Bucks have built the team to enable Giannis to run the whole offense alone i suspect he will have a great individual season. If they manage to surprise us and get a high seed i think Giannis gets another one this time.

Jokic, imo

with the improvements on the team the Nuggets will win close to 60 regular season games imo
