It would surprise you how clueless some NBA players are.

Really hard to believe he didn't know, could just be click baity content since reactions are popular. But hey who knows, some aren't as locked into the drama.

I can't believe people still watch his podcast after the crap he pulled after his last few NBA games. Rone deserves better, he's fantastic.

Reunion

A lot of NBA players don't know the names of many of their peers, opposing coaches, etc in their own era.

It's not hard to believe the Malone stuff could have gone over his head all these years.

Nobody ever talked about it while he was playing. (On TV etc.) Information was a lot less widely available compared to today and as a result a lot of shocking things slid by or were just blips in printed media.

I'm not surprised at all guys don't know.

I think a lot of people would be surprised how many somewhat big nba fans have never heard about malone (or kobe) stuff

The malone rape is not somethingh you saw brought up at all that often until recently

Correct. It's obvious he knew and this was a fake reaction video. Probably the least interesting thing I've seen on the internet in 10+ years.

Richard Jefferson is on record saying he was shocked at how tall Manu was when he joined the Spurs. Keep in mind they met in the finals against each other...

So yeah...I would be more shocked if most players knew this stuff than didn't.

I wouldn’t say this is common knowledge even if it has been known about for a long time. Malone has been done playing for 20 years now(so years before even Pat Bev made the league) and keeps a pretty low profile.

Pat Bev not knowing something doesn’t surprise me.
