Wont go into full article, but tweet says Boston Celtics superstar, which I think he is Boston Celtics superstar, is he not? And he is close to NBA superstar anyway, I imagine most people who at least somewhat know basketball, know who Jaylen Brown is. As you said, every guy who ever played in the NBA is called ''former NBA star'' or something like that in third party media.

Right, I don't think the vast majority of TMZ's followers even care about the NBA. The superstar/star debate is merely a semantical argument within NBA circles; most people don't care about the NBA whatsoever.
