No idea how McGrady bounces back this. Dude has been feeling himself a little too much lately. I'm glad someone put him in his place.

No one says T Mac had the career the Kobe had.

People agree that T Mac had great talent and was not only derailed by injuries but also no one thinks he had the work ethic of Kobe.

Kwame, while yelling like he’s disputing what other people are saying, is really just shouting into the wind. No one holds the opinions that T Mac out worked Kobe or had a better career than him .

Your life has to be pretty depressing if you made 64 Million by the time you were 30 and you are recording yourself as a 43 year old rambling about a player you never even played with and something nobody really cares about in the first place.

He should have ignored this.

I think Kwame trying to humble him because Tmac been on a flowers tour which is true but until he starts acting what I call Shaq type jerk about his talent then I give him a pass

At their peaks, Tmac was as good or better than Kobe... Offensively. The big difference was, Kobe played defense at a high level, while Tmac was a Harden-esque Sieve. That's half the game and Kobe was world's more valuable at it

When he does his own rant saying TMac can't do it, it's pretty clear what drove him. Either way he's not too wrong about T Mac he did suck other than scoring (at a .470 eFG%) I never had a worst time watching the Magic as when he was "leading" them.

McGrady was definitely a capable defender, he, like most stars who have to completely shoulder the offensive load, couldn't put in full effort on defense in Orlando. But his last year in Toronto he finished top 10 in blocks per game, very impressive for a wing, especially in that era, then in Houston he played great defense on Dirk in one of their playoff series. The idea he was Harden esque on that end is just completely untrue.

He did the same thing a few years ago with Gilbert Arenas. While I find the bashing of former players decades later in general pretty pathetic, I especially find it silly if that player didn´t even play in the same hemisphere than the player he is talking about. Maybe Kwame can talk s--- about Mikki Moore or Melvin Ely, but he has absolutely no business to talk about players like TMac or Gil.

I knew this was going to just be words Kwame said, because he damn sure never annihilated TMac on the court.

Out of pure curiosity, I clicked on account of person that made the twitter post. Everything is DESTROYED, ANNIHILATED, etc.
