Guys like him would be ideal for a real QB if it wasn’t for the whole getting hit part.

He especially thrives in the shotgun formation.

Rondo and Paul would be great QBs I feel, even if we have no indication whether they can throw it. I often wonder what Jokic would look like playing in the pocket. A 7 foot QB, make it happen.

It’s funny guys we look at guys like Rondo and Curry as being (too) small, when they are in actual fact the same height as George Kittle.

I mean, they may be similar heights but they nowhere near the same size. Steph Curry would die getting smoked by a safety or lb.

How does having a huge wingspan make one a better QB? What's the advantage?

Maybe throwing mechanics with longer arm does not require more strength to throw those long passes? I do not know, it kinda makes sense in my mind, but I know nothing of American football, I jsut Know I would not be able to throw those things that long with my crappy upper body, also long wingspan often means wider shoulders, which is always better in these contact sports.

A longer arm means it's going to take more time to wind up and release the ball on most pass attempts, that's not what a coach wants.

Didn't think of that. Imagine scouts in that sport undoubtfully scout how quick QB throws the ball, but is there such a thing as arm length watch?

He was the best QB in the NBA for years, so that makes sense.

It definitely does hold weight. He simply isn’t big enough to endure hits by NFL players.

The video of him throwing the ball here is fairly atrocious. This is obviously a joke that I almost fell for.

No he wouldn't. He is no smaller than Justin Jefferson, Ja'Marr Chase, Tyreek Hill, etc. who all seem to survive just fine in the NFL.
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Rondo was 6'1" 180.

Jordan Addison is 5'11" 175.

Not to mention, Rondo could easily put on some muscle and bulk up.
