Netflix’s Starting 5 Season 2

Don't see a thread for this, so wondering what starting 5 you would want to see next season?
KD always have interesting storelines every year, SGA just won, Jalen Brown will be the main character for the Celtics so that's interesting too, Hali had a magical and incredible playoffs run too but I don't know about James Harden. I know the players have to agree to film this but to me, I would replace Harden with someone like Trae Young, Embiid, or Gobert or even Draymond. That'd be cinema.

I was pleasantly surprised at the first Season [not all of it, but mostly was okay to me], so I will give this one a watch as well.
It will be interesting to see the storylines here because of how each season ended up. Brown's teammate Tatum was on S1 for their Title run, but this year it ends early. KD missed the playoffs as part of a dysfunctional team and was traded in the offseason, so I'm curious if that is included. Harden lost in R1 and his team is currently embroiled in the Kawhi cap drama. I'm sure it will be interesting for how much we see of Harden's personal life. lol
SGA / Hali's teams met in the Finals - so it should be compelling content as we get to see both sides of the story.
S1 - LeBron, Tatum, Sabonis, Butler, Edwards
S2 - SGA, Brown, Haliburton, Harden, KD
Next year, I want Luka, Wemby, Flagg, Giannis, Brunson
Kawhi would be cinema.

The first season was so boring. There was a segment about Christmas, and Lebron was talking about how he liked getting presents as a kid and now he likes giving his kids gifts, and the segment just seemed to go on forever. I feel like he kept on repeating himself and there wasn’t a lot of emotion, and we learned…that as a kid he liked getting presents and as a parent he likes giving presents to his kids.
I’m a big NBA fan and had a hard time staying awake.

I hope they cover Jaylen Brown's pre season trip to Haij/Mecca after the Celtics won the chip. As a Muslim, this would interest me greatly.
Jaylen is a thoughtful, intelligent and at times outspoken person. I think many fans will enjoy what he has to say.
Also I am looking foward seeing what makes SGA tick away from the court, I don't really know what makes him drive as a person and his beliefs (not necessarily to do with religion either)

I know the head producer of this and we gave him a lot of **** for how vanilla and domesticated the first one was, so expecting this to be more entertaining.

I know the CEO of Netflix and told him to smarten up and add more drama so expect this season to be a lot more salacious. You’re welcome.

Why SGH is always dropping that sexy look in his photos.

Would be hilarious if somehow Harden is filmed anywhere near Aspiration offices or anything like that.
All those Clippers players might be put under scrutiny these days.

I would actually rather see Harden just given the combination of his age and him reinventing his game. That's always what I find the most interesting when we get into a player beyond the stats and the games played. Most guys just give up before they really try and become a different type of player.

This is largely why I've always hated when we try and humanize the players in sports journalism. I'm all for interesting stuff, but it has to be interest and NBA players aren't any different than the rest of us. Their lives are mostly boring...they just got better stuff, cooler cars, and their women are hotter. But once they're married with kids...it's mostly the same stuff everyone else deals with.

The first season they chose interesting, big name guys with different personalities.
I probably won’t even watch Season 2. SGA is a fantastic basketball player, but is he interesting? Durant just wants hoop.
Maybe they tried to steer towards Americans, but I think Luka, Giannis, Cooper Flagg (I don’t know enough about him off the court), and Jokic are guys I want to understand. I’d have probably stuck Ant and LeBron showing the young career vs veteran, if Netflix got to choose the players they wanted. Would Ja Morant be interesting?
