I saw the other post, and I thought I'd do 20, with a poll.

From 2000 to 2025, who are top 20 guys?

Here are the guys I think we'd agree are locks, that's 14 out of the 20
LBJ, Curry, Duncan, Shaq, Jokic, Giannis, KD, Dirk, CP3, Kobe, Wade, KG, AD, Harden (pains me to lock him in, but he's top 20)

Of course, Luka/SGA/Tatum could all be locks in 5 years but maybe not yet

if you're locking Harden, i think Westbrook deserves it too. Similar playoff success and incredible regular seasons for both of them.

Similar in some ways but I think Harden is half a tier above. Just in terms of scoring, 3pt shooting and overall efficiency it puts him clearly ahead which is also reflected in mvp voting. Top 3 5 times while WB was top 3 1 time and top 4 3 times total.

Nash is the guy I'd move up into lock tier.

Ben Wallace, Chauncey Billups, Joel Embiid, Jimmy Butler, Anthony Davis the immediate other others I think of.

Nash is easily a lock too.

AI was my last one in. I considered Luka over him, but if he ended now, I choose AI’s career over him. I fully expect Luka toto pass him up.

Kawhi not being a lock is insanity to me.
