They had the best chemistry of any team I've ever seen and all of them were friends off court. They just couldn't stop MJ or Isiah and by the time they left the NBA they were old.

Watching them at the time, I always felt like Terry Porter was the 2nd best player, then either Buck Williams or Kersey.

Duckworth was good too, he was pretty skilled.

after Portland moved Drexler to Houston, they didn't have any definitive starter at SG for the rest of the regular season. They tried out a combo of James Robinson, Aaron McKie, Terry Porter, Rod Strickland and Buck Williams before settling on a lineup of Strickland, Harvey Grant, Uncle Cliffy, Buck Williams and Dudley for their '95 playoff run. McKie eventually ended up taking over as their new starting SG for the 1995-96 season.

The 6 seasons Buck Williams was there (1989-90 to 1995-96) the Blazers were the 2nd best defensive team in the league (103.1 pts/100poss allowed). Only New York was better defensively. They were better defensively than San Antonio, Houston, Utah, Seattle, and Chicago.

Buck Williams was a defensive stud and also their best rebounder those 6 seasons (4457 rebs, no other Blazer had even 2800). He had 500+ more offensive rebounds than any other Blazer, 1000+ more defensive rebounds. They were the best rebounding team in the league (grabbed 52.7% of all available rebounds) those 6 seasons.

^ And during Buck's first 7 years (for New Jersey) he averaged 16.9 points and 12.3 rebounds including 4.2 off reb!
And he had the build of Dennis Rodman, 6-8 215 lbs
