I would say if you are a center at least 8 feet.

Most ideal would be 10 foot ceilings to be honest, especially considering how much these guys make.

I'd be dissapointed in 8 foot ceilings if I made anything more than $1 million per year. I am however a big fan of drop ceilings.

BTW what's RealGM's infatuation with ceilings? Electrical, framing, and plumbing is much more interesting IMO. Someone needs to make a thread how much NBA players spend on other aspects in their house other than ceilings.
