Yes it is legal indeed. However, the potential of illegal sports betting/point shaving will be greater.

Not sure what playing in Vegas has to do with anything. Gambling is online now. I don't think it will make any difference. Too much money being made by everyone for anything to be done about it. That's all that people care about.
