Sample size is too small still, 2-3 games aren't enough to make me start worrying about a players performance.

Forreal tho? Chauncey Billups

I'm not sure how many games I need before a player's poor play becomes concerning, but it's more than 1 or 2!

We all want players to come flying out of the gates and immediately show off the enormous improvements they made over the summer. The reality is (as we've all observed from watching the NBA for so many years) that the early season is an amorphous blob that takes a while to snap into a cohesive shape. There are hot and cold starts for players and teams. 1-2 games isn't even enough to be that, though.

Aaron Nesmith is really worrying me. Surely he’s regressing because his 1st game in his 6th season def carries more weight than the other 5 years. No hope for improvement.

Are we really making this thread based off a 2 game sample size? The overreactions people have on here can be straight up comical lol.

Yes, I'm deeply concerned about Stephon Castle, the reigning ROY, based off a 2 game sample size before Halloween. That's a very rational thought to have.

Ace Bailey, 34 minutes into his career, it's already over for him.

This is a thread so ridiculous it genuinely comes across as satire.

Even that is wild after 1-2 games, players have 1-2 bad game stretches multiple times all season, if we were projecting off every not so impressive 1-2 game stretch, we would just be having terrible discussions

Being worried about Ayton means that people still believe he's good, which would be concerning because we've seen how not good he is.

Half this list makes no sense.... Who is worried about CJ McCollum? lol

Nah, he'll average 50 easily

Personally I don't even know which team CJ McCollum is on these days.

I'm only worried that Terry Rozier might be friends with somebody on my team. :uhoh:

I feel like a couple of games can be enough to worry that you don't see any change in play style, if you aren't just focused on whether someone made shots or not. That said, I haven't really seen any of these guys play. Banchero has worried me for a while of the concern is "will he really be a superstar".

While I’m not worried about his overall impact, I’m losing confidence in Shai’s ability to develop a consistent three point shot.
