Just unacceptable from the Grizzlies coaching staff.

This season Ja Morant, Cedric Coward, and JJJ have played a total of just 34 minutes on the court together.

Javon Small, JJJ, and Cedric have played 62 minutes together this season.

Perhaps but best option for the Grizz is to trade Morant.

I have said this repeatedly. Play your three best players together.

I don't why their offense let their role player such as Wells ,Aldama shoot more than star player JJJ  ,It's annoying

So Ja is right not to play with effort/sulk all over the court to prove some kind of point?

Overrated will one day become a reality for you and Ja.

I wouldn't even have Ja's locker anywhere near Cedric Coward.

Cedric Coward probably avoids him anyways.

Doesn't matter. Ja is shooting 14% from 3 and actively throwing games with his pouting.

If I'm the NBA, I'd be looking out for unusual bets on Ja unders this season

I would offer Luka + fillers for Ja + JJJ + picks. Ja + JJJ + AR15 is a great core post Lebron.

Not sure if serious, but Luka will retire as a Laker, and will be a Laker legend for life.

Nico stop! You’re not his GM anymore.

Some nice pieces on this team, but I'd be looking at getting off of both JJJ and Ja and reloading with another number 1 option (and some vet leadership).

Ja got so much growing up to do, sounds like a toxic environment in general.

No a single player averages 30 minutes.Ja leads the the team at 28 minutes a game.He is also playing a 12 man rotation even though half the team is injured.

Take away the JA drama. JJJ is also angry at the new coach he is putting some type of weird Europe league system that has hockey style substitutions every 3 minutes.

Looks like they dismissed the coach in spring just to tank furiously.

None of this excuses Ja's (lack of) effort, but Iisalo's system is not producing a functional offense whatsoever. The Grizz have two above-average players in Ja and JJJ. I don't understand the fascination with implementing a gimmecky system when the simplest solution is to just play your two above-average players regular minutes especially when the team is decimated with injuries. Why does the 15th man on the roster get as many shots as your two best players?

How can you try your best when your coach is absolutely opposed to your effort.

Sports fans treat pro sports like little league or something.

"You gotta try your best..."

Ja is a grown man with millions upon millions of dollars, dealing with another coach who minimized his role - again. Either way, he is going to get paid and be fine. Give effort for what? The coach don't want him to have the ball. He isn't going to be rewarded with more playing time because the coach don't believe in playing his best players for extended periods of time.

Now it's not only affecting Ja, it's affecting JJJ.

NBA Basketball is simple, give it to your best player the best way you can. All of this "European" style crap, where you got hockey substitutions and everyone plays 20 minutes, it's stupid. They need to stop bringing that crap to the NBA.

Ja is top 5 playmaker, give him the ball and let him do Ja Morant stuff.

If it were just the talent that is Ja, I'd be buying the stock. But it's not, and his presence isn't something I'd invite into any locker room. But I believe there are concerns about Coach Isalo, and they should be discussed.

I’m gonna go ahead and just state it probably wasn’t Taylor Jenkins fault

Wait...youre arguing you dont have to "try your best"?

Maybe his coach sucks but you cant really talk if you suck even worse.

Man honestly, Brooks prolly was the heart and soul of that team. People didn't like the brashness and the confidence, but look at what you traded that for. I wonder how last year's Grizzlies woulda looked with Brooks in there? Maybe a better playoffs matchup and a second round appearance and we run this **** back one more time with another year of Edey and now we got Coward emerging a bit

Again people see this and start talking about JA.

Even if they trade JA today it doesn't take away from the fact that this coach system is ridiculous.I never seen anything like it.

Go watch any Grizzlies game JJJ gets sub out in the first minute of the game !!!! No NBA player should star a game and then get sub out right away.
